At Vervet, protecting your privacy is of utmost importance. This Privacy Policy applies to Vervet, a service provided by Fluharty LLC, and governs the collection and use of data. For the purposes of this policy, "Vervet" refers to Fluharty LLC, doing business as Vervet. Vervet is an application designed for managing student travel program documents, forms, information, communication, and applications. By using the Vervet application, you consent to the data practices outlined in this policy.

Collection of Personal Information

Vervet collects minimal personal information and does not use student data beyond what is required by authorized schools for educational purposes or as authorized by parents. However, you may be asked to provide personal information when using Vervet, such as when registering for an account. The information provided may be used for purposes including, but not limited to, communicating with you about services or products you have requested.

Right to Deletion

The ability to delete or modify student information rests solely with the school administrator. Vervet does not have the ability to delete or add student information unless granted access by the school administrator.

Children Under Eighteen

Vervet does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen. All student data is entered by parents or legal guardians exclusively for use by the school. Vervet is a platform that allows schools or parents to input travel-related information for students participating in school trips. Only the school administrators and authorized chaperones will have access to this information. Parents invited to log in with a provided password will be able to enter and view their child’s information. Access to this information by chaperones will automatically be revoked at the end of the trip. Vervet reserves the right to access student information only in the case of a technical need, as specified by the school.

Vervet does not manage or have access to any official health records from schools or healthcare providers.

Disconnecting Your Vervet Account from Third-Party Websites

Schools may connect their Vervet account to third-party accounts. By connecting your Vervet account to a third-party account, you consent to the continuous release of information about you to those third parties (as per your privacy settings on those third-party sites). If you do not want your information, including personally identifiable information, to be shared in this manner, do not use this feature. You may disconnect your account from third-party sites at any time. School administrators responsible for the Vervet account can disconnect third-party sites by navigating to the trip administration page and deleting the links to those third-party accounts.

From time to time, Vervet may contact schools for feedback or to share updates about the service.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Vervet reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. In the event of significant changes to the way we handle personal information, we will notify you via the primary email address associated with your account, post a prominent notice on our application, or update the privacy information on our platform. Continued use of the application and services following any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy and your agreement to abide by it.
